What we did:
Good morning Japan! Jet lag was rough but we were the first ones at breakfast at 6:30 AM. It was so tasty and we figured out why people are so skinny in Japan.
We went back up to our room and spend to much time trying to map out or day. The hard thing about Japan is that because of the language you cant download google maps... awesome.. well luckily wifi is pretty much anywhere and we made it to a couple places but it was Hella cold and rainy.
We started off by going to this beautiful shrine and went to different shops we didn't buy anything but it was fun to look around but it was rainy. We then had ramen which was so great. they have these almost vending machines that you order your meal at than sit down and they make it to your liking. it was tasty. Jed, of course, loved the sauce but couldn't use the chopsticks. he just kept looking at me and asking me how I did it.
We got on the train and went to a park. honestly nothing exciting. we were just freezing and we were ready to be out of the rain. Jed found a crepe place and we had a little snack but it was 90percent whip cream. Jed seems to have the hardest time finding his idea crepe. we should ask him what his idea crepe is. He didn't love them in France and didn't love it in Japan.
We walked around this indoor mall and it was nice to get out of the rain. Jed found a great gun shop that he was daydreaming about all the guns he wanted. We also had some noodles and that filled us up. We didn't eat the rest of the night.
honestly, it was so rainy that we were do done being outside so we went back to our hotel early. when we got back Jed took off his "waterproof" jacket and was drenched. My 20 dollar Costco jacket did the trick.
