Day 3
Feeling: #blessed to be spending the next year with me man
Excited for: honestly, to try the Japanese Kit Kats, and high chews
Not excited for: not being able to drink that water and eat some of the food in our next countries it’s so nice here being able to eat and drink anything
Miles traveled: 5471
Interesting conversations we’ve had with people:
We got lost walking into a building that also had a metro station in it. We took a wrong turn and almost started going up an elevator. A nice lady must have known we were lost and asked us where we were going. We told her we were looking for the metro and she Freaked out and told us we were going in the wrong direction and started walking us to the metro (which ended up being really far away) as she was talking and walking and wanted to walk us to the metro but she was so torn because she was late for work. I finally told her we would find it just fine… as she continued to walk with us.
Also, we were walking down to the train and there was a guy that tried to pass me. he ran around me on to the ‘wrong side of the stairs” (which there was no one there…) and then came back into the “right side of the stairs”. People are such rule followers.
Best Part about the day: No Rain and we covered so much ground
Worst part about the day: Awesome day

We woke up again nice and early around 6:15. Headed down to breakfast. We got came back upstairs and got ready for the day.
Today we got a metro pass for all day. (why didn’t we think of that yesterday?) Our first stop was the imperial palace. which was closed so we rerouted our self to the fish market. But then we got hungry and stopped at Denny’s HAHA it was weird not Americanized at all. there was no grand slam.
We stopped at a Buddhist temple and went inside, said a little pray and then we headed to the fish markets
Along the way… This is where it gets cool. We got interviewed and we are going to be on a Japanese game show in November. They asked us questions about the fish market… and we had no idea what they were asking but we went along with it. HAHA add that to my list of “never have I ever” or “2 truths and a Lie”
We walked in to the fish market and there was so many different fish that where alive and dead. We watched them cut the biggest tuna! First with a small samurai sword that was 3 feet and they took out the big samurai sword that was 5 feet long! Jed was so entertained! We walked around a couple of the buildings and then went into the actual fish market where they were selling fish and butchering them. It was pretty raw.
After the fish market, we headed to the technology district. And kind of looked around, nothing to crazy. Honestly, we sat in a McDonalds and planned what we walked to do. We decide that we wanted to go to the scramble district. I’m still blown away by how many people are in this world. We walked across the street and had a kabob and went up into the Starbucks to watch everyone cross. People here are so good at navigating where to go without litterly running into people.
We were pretty tiered and wanted to see some stuff at night so we went back to the hotel and rested up for an hour and went back out to see the technology district and went into the shop… HOLLY COW. It puts Walmart to shame hard core. It was 8 stories of stuff. You name it, it was there. Blow driers to speakers. It had it all. Jed relaxed in a massager chair for a good 10 minutes and fell asleep with all the other hard-working Asians. It was so funny to see their culture. One minute the grown men are focused, hard at work in a suit and tie with a briefcase and next thing you know they are playing video games with all of there might! Haha
We got dinner at this restraint we finally had some protein and rice. Their rice is so good! YUMMM
Jed and I also talked about the Japanese culture honestly everyone is hard working and not entitled to anything they do what they need to do and leave. They could have been more entitled we just couldn’t understand what they were saying
Exhausted we headed back to the hotel and crashed.
There was a lot of things we didn’t get to do in Tokyo that I wish we could of. It was too expensive we wanted to go up to the sky tree but that was like 60 bucks and we didn’t know if you could see anything because of the rain and we wanted to go to a themed café but that again was well over 100 dollars. But tomorrow we get to ride a bullet train which will be so cool!
Till tomorrow
