We ARE SO EXCITED! WE are leaving for a 3-week trip to Europe! Our flight left Salt Lake around 7 am and we were trying to figure out who would be up at that time to give us a ride to the airport. We first asked my sister who works at the hospital and usually gets up early and we asked her to give us a ride. She told me that she could but later on she told us that she couldn’t but she had asked my grandpa to give us a ride, a couple days later I got a call from my grandpa saying he couldn’t give us a ride any more but he had already asked my aunt if she could give us a ride and she said yes, we were laughing because everyone was trying to find us a ride! It was the easiest thing ever!
My aunt picked us and was so surprised on how much we didn’t pack. Jed and I only took one carry on each and a backpack! We got to the airport got all checked in and headed to our first layover which was Arizona. My sister had called me and told me that we needed that we needed a pin for our credit card! I was so nervous so I called our credit cards and asked if we needed to active a pin for our cards because we were on way to Europe. they informed me that because my card was an American account I didn’t need a pin for my credit card unless I needed to make a cash withdrawal. which we weren’t going to do.
We got back on our plane to L.A. I had never been to the L.A. Airport before and it was crazy! you have to go out of airport onto a bus and then you have to go to a whole other building (international terminal) check in go back threw security and all. Security was crazy long but they were so chill. We didn’t have to take of our shoes or take our or liquids. We got in found out that our original plan of buying subway sandwiches didn’t go as well. We bought lunch and then other sandwiches that where like 10 bucks each. which was more than we expected to pay but that’s what thing I would recommend looking at the food that is going to be in the airport wing and knowing what to eat.

We had a 2-hour time to sit and hang out and we tried to walk around as much as we could because we knew that we had a long 11-hour flight ahead of us, we got on our flight and of course there was tons of movies to watch and we just hung out and watched shows. I tried to sleep by taking Benadryl and that did nothing. I can fall asleep anywhere when I'm laying down but I have the hardest time falling asleep when I’m sitting up. so, I got about a 30-minute nap in. we landed in Sweden and had to go through customs. and it was so funny we had to tell them how long I was going to be in Europe for. I said I don’t know a couple weeks, and he kept questioning me and saying you don’t know how long you are going to be here, and I told him all the places we were going to go. and I said ill I know is that I have to be back to work by September 22nd. and they let me throw. he was like ok lady shut up keep moving! than we had to walk down all of these stairs to go through security to get into Sweden and at this point we had been up for close to 30 hours and I kept wondering why everything looked like idea. the writing the colors. and then we realized that it was because Ikea was from Sweden and Jed and I just started laughing. we got threw security and we sat down and where so tiered but then so hungry. if you have ever been up for that long when you get so hangry so quickly we got a burger and Jed laid on my lap and fell asleep. I let him sleep for about an hour but by that time I was so tiered. it was 9 am. in Sweden and we had an 8-hour layover. I was nodding off so hard that I woke up Jed and told him I needed a nap so I took an hour nap and then he needed a nap. we took turns taking naps for 8 hours. walking around and just doing our death march in the airport. we were so tiered that we just though we are so tiered we might as well stay here. if you ever go to the Stockholm airport there is a newer part of the airport that is a lot quitter. GO SLEEP THERE! there was no one there. we also had some Swedish meatballs and it was so good! we got on the plane and started headed to France.

We got to France and found a McDonalds that had Wi-Fi! most McDonalds have Wi-Fi some work and some don’t. we kept our phones in airplane mode and they wanted you to have your number so they could send you a conformation text. But we didn’t have our phones on. so, it was hit or miss in Europe. We texted our Airbnb guy threw the Airbnb app and told home we would be there around 10 o clock. We got our tickets and headed to our places. We walked into our apartment building the elevator was meant for 3 people but only Jed and I could fit in with our bags. the guy tried to fit in with us and we told him no! We went up to the top of the building and he showed us in and I was in shock! it was so small!!!!!!! people could not fit in there I walked in and my first thought was where being the bathroom (no worried it was behind the door. We got all of our phones set up and went to bed! we were so tiered! But we went to bed around 11 and work up at 8am.
