GOOOOOOOOD MORNING VIETNAM
But seriously I love it here! I have been waking up so much earlier than Jed. I don't know why probably because I'm excited to get going! but I found us a breakfast place and we headed there. it was sandwich which of course are never a bad idea! Jed got a drink and I got a pop cycle. I can already tell I'm going to love south-east Asia. they love fruit and veggies which is all about
We got a taxi and went to go rent a scooter for a couple days. We thought we went to the wrong place but we ended up talking to the guy and he was from the states. which was awesome. we asked him how long he was in Vietnam and he said 3 years and he loved it. he also told us to move here and how easy it was to live here! I'm pretty sure I have Jed convinced that we are going to teach English over here. well, see.
we hopped on our bike and headed to the mausoleum of ho chi min. and yes it was pretty uneventful. we road back to a lake and Jed got to drive like a madman threw all the traffic it was awesome! scary but awesome.
We stopped and got some Pho and churros which were amazing and ice cream I don't know how we snuck that guy in. but we walked over to an old prison and decided that was the most depressing thing we have ever seen! haha
After heading back to our hotel we worked in some research and decided to hit up the old night market. we got some protein and walked around we started looking we grabbed some popcorn and I saw some shoes. they were a little bit small. so we kept walking and grabbed some yummy food and started looking for more shoes. but no one had them. we went back to that one guy and got some fake Yeeze
we went to dinner and I got an apple and pear juice and it was so yummy Jed and I then went to dinner and head spring roles and someone told us how to eat them. and you're supposed to wrap lettuce around it it was so yummy.
