Master Esthetics

I'm so glad that I decided to do the master esthetics program at PMTS SLC. It was such a good opportunity. It took me about 3 or 4 months to finish it and I learned so much! Everything from chemical peels, body waxing, body treatments, nails, and lasers!  I'm currently only using my cosmetology license, but I have so much knowledge that I continue to study up on. I'm ALWAYS googling different skin ingredients, skin lines, and seeing what other people think about it.  The best thing about my job is that it is my hobby! I LOVE anything beauty!

I was a little hesitant to continue my education because it was spending time and money when I could be focusing on what I love doing which is hair. However I'm so glad that I stuck with it. I feel like in a weird way the timing of school helped me get my current job at Kelly Cardenas Salon. 

Paul mitchell was my favorite school and I miss it every day, but I'm very blessed that I'm still able to keep a good relationship with the school and those that taught and went there :)

Jed was also so supportive of me fallowing my dreams! He is my biggest cheerleader and so understanding. I literally pull 18 hour days at the salon and he thinks it's great that I'm excited  to work through my weekend! When you love what you do it makes it so easy.
