Dallas

We had so much fun in Dallas Texas. Jasmine and Kelby where so nice to let us stay with them. We got there late Thursday night and we went to their house. This first picture is Jed and Kelby blowing up the air mattress (if you can see we don’t have an automatic pump to pump it up with) BUT, there is a manual pump in the bed. Cool right? Except it only takes like 20 minutes to manually pump it up. The whole time we were all laughing because of how inefficient our air mattress was. Once we got it all blown up we stayed up super late just talking and catching up.

That Saturday Jasmine and Kelby woke us up. They are early birds and we are totally night owls so we woke up around 9 and went on our way for shopping in a really nice area called south lake! We looked around and stopped and got a pumpkin spice late from Starbucks and got some lunch. (We sounds like a basic bitches right?)

When we first planned our Dallas trip we were going to go to a concert, but when they went to buy them it ended up being way too expensive for general seating. So instead we went to a go kart track, we waited got all signed in and they told us it would be like 1-2 hour wait. Instead we took pictures and left to go to Dave and Busters. Jed and I had never been there which was so fun! We got enough tickets to pay for our dinner there. Forty bucks for dinner and games was so worth it.
We went home and Jed and Kelby went and played shuffle board. I mean our Dallas trip wouldn't have been complete without the men playing some shuffle board.

At first they wanted the ladies to get on the car and be sexy but I know this is better than any picture we could have took.
Racing at Dave and Busters!
We rocked this game! We got so many tickets on this game!
On Sunday we went to brunch at Reunion Tower where you can go to the top and walk around check out all the historical sites of Dallas. We went upstairs and had brunch which was so cool because the floor rotated while you sat down and ate! We went to a huge mall that was 4 stories high and had an ice skating rink in it. While we were in Dallas all Jed wanted was watches and shoes! It was so funny I have never looked at so many watches in my life! But it was fun and I know what to get him for Christmas. We also went to a Dallas Mavericks game! I had never been to an NBA game so we started at the very top in the nose bleed seats and slowly moved our way down to the front row! When we got closer to the bottom we saw 2Chainz there and Mark Cuban and I’m pretty sure Kelby was in heaven! The Mavericks lost, but we think that if it would have been a close game we wouldn't have made it to the floor seats! Plus we stayed till the end and got on the jumbo screen! Its not hard to do when 70% of the people had left the game!

Funny story about these shirts, Jed and I didn't want to keep the shirts so we bought them at Walmart and then returned them the next day. When we went to return them we didn't remember that we bought the blue shirts together and the gray ones together so the lady at Walmart said "The stupid person scanned the same shirt twice..." and we were like.... yea that so dumb....we did self check out haha.
We got closer!

We made it all the way down to the floor!

On Monday we talked about going to this tower that you free fall off of, but it was too windy so we went to another mall and just hung out. We wanted to make sure that our flight was on time and everything and it said it was delayed... so we called a couple different people and they told us to just go to the airport at the same time. When we got to the airport they were annoyed because we didn’t get the memo that our flight was delayed which made us miss our connecting flight out of Denver. Anyways we ended up having to spend the night in Denver because of snow. I was so excited. I thought it was going to be so cute. We will stay in a down town hotel and go walk around in the snow and get some dinner.
When we got to Denver we got all of our food and hotel info taken care of which took longer that we had planned. By the time we got done talking we literally had 10 minutes to get across the airport to our shuttle. Jed and I looked at each other and started to run. We knew we had to get to our buss because it was the last one of the night! While we were going from one side of the airport to the other on the subway we did however have time to take a picture of us sleeping. We were running through people, jumping over stuff and  pushing children and the elderly out of the way (just kidding). We barely made it to our bus when they were taking off.

We then took a 45 minute bus ride to our hotel. Which was crazy to me because I had never been to the Denver airport and it was out there in the middle of nowhere. We got to our hotel and spent the night. We had to get on the earliest flight out so that I could make it to school the next day. We woke up super early so that we could get to our flight that left at 8. Once we got to the door to get on the plane it was delayed another hour! We did not have good flights on this trip. By the time we got back to Salt Lake I went straight to school and I was so tiered! But it was so worth it.
Jed captured this picture when the train was stopping and I almost fell off the bench
