Nielsen Update

Hey guys so it has been so long since I have blogged! We have been so busy, but then again we haven't been busy enough to blog. The reason why I haven't been posting as much is because Jed got a new job, which he is loving! When he was working at GNC he had a lot of time to do home work. He would do most of his online schooling at work and come home and hang out with me. However, since he started working at Verizon he doesn't have time to do school at work so he has to do schoolwork when he gets home. Because he needs to use the computer for schoolwork I don't get to use the computer...hence why I stopped blogging. but I'm going to try and blog a lot more because so many fun things are coming up in the next month! Anyways, this is what has been happening in our life's

Whats new with Jed,

• Jed quit his job at GNC and is now working at Verizon
• Jed is liking his new job at Verizon! He is doing so well and finishing his first month of being out on the floor and is going above and beyond with his sales goals and quotas.
• On my birthday we went into Verizon because we had some time to kill before we got massages and he started talking to the manager and asked if Verizon was hiring there and the manager said if you apply you have the really good chance of getting the job because of all your sales experience.
• Once Jed applied it took them close to 6 weeks for him to hear back from them. He finally heard back from them and he quit his job at GNC. We were both excited for him to end his job. He was getting a lot of school done but he wasn't going to progress as a manager so we were so excited that he got this job at Verizon.
• Once he got his job he had 6 weeks of training, which is crazy to me, but once he was done with training he was out on the floor and he did so good!
• He is still going to school at WGU and should finish by October ( fingers crossed)! This job takes so much outta him! I'm amazed he still does homework at all.

Whats new with me,

• Anything and everything school. I have been doing so many extra things that aren't required and I have been loving it. If anyone asks me what I'm doing I always say school.
• I have taken so many extra classes that will make me a better stylist!
• I'm now certified to do hair extensions and I'm kinda excited to do them!
• I just had a week long break where I didn't have school and I missed doing hair so much! (that is when you know your in the right field!) It was so good to have a break but I love school so much and I cant get enough of it!
• I'm starting my Master Esthetics in September! I graduate in August and I start school again in September! I'm so excited to start! I love all the teachers and skin and we just always have such a good time.
• I"m taking my state boards this week! There is a practical and a written test and I'm hoping that I pass both on the first time!

Whats new with us,

Not a whole lot! We love spending every minute we can together, which usually consists of just talking a walking or going on hikes! It's like 85 degrees no joke in our apartment and we try to get out as much as we can. We have been helping my dad move which is great! Everyone was so excited that I was helping him move his stuff and  I just said " most of it is mine! I should be moving it!"

We are getting ready for Alex to come home in a few weeks. He comes home August 1st and we are so excited for him to be back! We have plans that I'm so excited to share with him when he gets to the airport but I'll wait.
