Eve and day

Merry Christmas everyone from the Nielsen’s! We had so much fun spending time with all the families! The best part about this Christmas is that it was our first time talking to Morgan (Jed’s brother) and our last year talking to Alex before he comes home! 

Christmas Eve was so much fun we went over to my cousin jess to do ginger bread houses with her kids and family. After that we went over to Jed’s families and had a girl exchange! I love this part of Christmas because it gets ya in the mood for the next day. After we hung out at Jed’s family for a while we went home and got set up to talk to Alex the next day. My dad and Addie where sleeping over so Jed and if slept on the air mattress, Addie was on the couch and my dad was in our room. Everything set up and ready to talk to Alex and went to bed.

The next morning we work up, had breakfast and started opening present. In the middle of opening present Alex called us! It was so good to talk to him. He is doing so good, we talked to him  an hour or two. While we were talking to him we opened the rest of our presents and said good bye. We got ready for the day and went up to my grandparents for their portion of Christmas! It was so good to see the family and tell them how good Alex was doing! In the middle of opening presents we had to leave so that we could go talk to Jed’s brother for Christmas. We had the laptop so we really needed to be on time. usually it would take us 40 minutes to get from my grandparents’ house to Jed’s parents’ house because they are on opposite sides of the valley but Jed made it there in 20 minutes! I was so scared the whole time we were driving. But it was intense. We had it all set up and ready to go in the car and all we had to do when we got there was hock it up to the computer.

It was so good to talk to Morgan he is also doing really good and loves Arizona! After hanging out at his family’s house for a while we went over to my dad’s family where they told everyone that Addie would be going to equator for two months to help in an orphanage and that she was leaving in like 4 days! They were so excited

All in all Christmas was so good! I love spending time with our families and it’s so go to see them because we are so busy these days and never have time to see anyone!
