Devis pool

devils pool one of the only things we had booked when we booked our trip!

we had someone pick us up and drop us off at the sight we got on a boat and headed to the island they took us on a tour and asked us what we wanted for lunch. (HEADS UP the lunch was amazing!)

we got in the water swam across the part and headed to where we were going to get into the devil's pool.

also, jed, forgot the sunscreen! I had to run back and get it for him plus a phone I didn't realise that the guy was going to take a million and one pictures! which is great! we played in the warm water and just enjoyed it! seriously amazing! like one of the coolest things, we've done!

we came back and had lunch! jed had portage and I had a blt and it was so so good! like, can't stop thinking about how gormey it was on this island. we went back to the mainland and decided to walk because the cab driver said it was a 15-minute walk. haha no, it was a 4-hour walk!

we walked jed had an umbrella, and I stole his hat and we walked!

we stopped at the Zambia side and found out we still had a long walk to the zimbabwe side. we went threw customs, crossed the bridge, and then almost got scammed!

this guy stopped jed, we had been walking for forever and he wanted us to pay him 35 dollars and he said it was another 2.2 km from where we are at. I was so insulted! that I said no and started walking this guy followed us and by the time we got another couple meters there it was the guy left and the customs were right there! customs went great and we walked into the national park! it was beautiful! we walked around and then decided to have high tea!

we again walked to the hotel and it was incredible! there was a guy playing piano and so many people dressed to the 9's and high tea was amazing!

high tea was so great we walked around and hung out and then we met our friends from Prague! seriously they are so sweet! we got a taxi and the driver tried to rip us off 50 dollars! nope! we got out of the taxi and the taxi driver was so nice to take us to an ATM but the ATM had no money! so we walked back across the bridge, and got a taxi there! for like less than 10 dollars.

we got home and just relaxed! had some dinner. we got a traditional meal and I tried sweet potatoes leaves and pumpkin leaves and it wasn't good and they asked me why I didn't eat them lol
