We where so sore after our hike we could barely move. We had a late check out so we just hung out in our room and talked to Jed's brother Taylor and his wife. We were catching up and seeing if we could meet up for Xmas.
We packed up and dropped off our stuff at the front desk. It was around 1 and we hadn't eaten so we went and got some food. We keep eating at this stupid chain restaurant by accident but it was fine. We went to Wal-Mart to get us food for our train ride and then stopped for ice cream.
We also looked into getting me some new shoes after 2 Europe trips and working out with them for 2 years they are pretty tasty. I also got yezzes but my feet were too big lol.
We opted out of shoes and decided that it would be better to wait until they are like long gone!
Then we went back to our hotel and researched our next couple days. This park is going to be epic when we get there. We went to dinner at the dumpling place and I had 17 dumpling lol Jed only had 13 and was stuffed.
We talked about all of our anniversary and birthday to see if I could remember them. It made me think about how happy I am that I do write all of this down. In the moment it is a pain but we love looking back at it.
We walked back to our hotel and waited to 10 to walk to the train station.
The walk took about 30 minutes and we waited at the train station till 1:07
It was rough Jed and I was getting really frustrated. The Chinese culture is so hard for us to understand. And day by day it gets harder to be around. The yelling, the inconsiderate people the spitting, the bathrooms, the cutting in line. You name it we are pretty over it. Jed and I say the have an only child mentality.
We got on our train and about died. We are in a cart of probably 70 people with no private room. We where nervous someone was going to take out bags and there was no room where the bags were supposed to go. So the bag with all the important stuff was on my bed. By my head.
My purse was by Jed's head with our passports and camera. My backpack was also by my head and we had ear plugs and a mask to help sleep. It was kinda hard to sleep because I was nervous someone was going to take one of our bags or rape me. But I woke up around 8 because of course someone was yelling and playing with noise toys and halking luggies. But ya know that is for another day another story
