Feeling: Glad we bought big jackets

Interesting conversations: the people at our hotel are crazy! its like bear lake on steroids! They are so loud

Best Part of the day: Street food 

Worst part of the day: no bad parts

Today we woke up and went to breakfast. we went back to the same spot we went to but we walked another way. we had a french toast sandwich, which was really good, Jed was convinced that he was going to make this sandwich when we get home. and I'm ok with that.

IT WAS FREEZING this morning and Jed wore shorts to breakfast. We stopped about bought jackets. Jed felt really great because he got a size XXXXL wherein the US he would usually get an M. MAYBE large. I bought one too and I got an XXL. I kinda wish I would have gotten an XL but the arms would have been way too short in it! #firstworldproblems.

As we were in the store everyone was pointing and laughing that Jed wore shorts! they thought it was so funny that he had shorts on and it was 50degrees outside. We went to buy the costs and the cost us 38 dollars... TOTAL wow. what a steal Jed wants to give them someone one we leave but I'm down for sending them home. Jed's friend wants a sword and would need it shipped to his so we might just ship it in there with it sorry Jaden if you're reading this.

Speaking of Jaden he asked Jed to send him a samurai sword. jed thought it would be a good idea to buy one in Beijing and wait till Jaden had that cash to pay for shipping but then I told him he probably couldn't take that on the plane and everyone would look at him walking around with a huge sword.lol

We went home and did some research its been so nice that I have been able to work on my other blog here in Beijing. while I have been doing that Jed has been planing out the rest of our trip. its kinda nice I'm documenting our trip and he is planning it out.

We thought about getting city passes to ride bikes around the city but we went there and it was going to be way to expensive so we went to the temple of the heavens. which was beautiful when you first walk in there was a sign that said something along the lines of its flat on one side to represent the earth and rounded on the other to represent the heavens. so even the Chinese think the earth was flat.

We went to a slotter house and then a couple temples. but missed out on the absence temple hahaha

We went home and got street food and some snacks for tomorrow! we are going to the great wall. I got the best bowl of veggie soup. Jed was so cute we walked into the restaurant and he said you'll like the first one because it has so many veggies. and he was right that's the one I got! He had this weird egg noodle hot dog thing. which was actually pretty good.

Als, we have walked out of 4 restaurants so far for bad service ( without eating of course) is that rude?

We came home and finished harry potter and put all our laundry away. I guess it doesn't matter if your at home or if your away it may take a few days to put your laundry away lol
