Naples

We woke up on our cruise ship excited to go! We knew that Jed wanted to take a scooter to Pompeii and if we had time we wanted to go to the Amalfi coast which was about 90 minutes ride on a scooter. we walked to go get our scooter and when we got there it was the best thing ever! It looked exactly like you would think a little scooter shop would look like and it was cheap! we didn’t hesitate to get going. we drove through the city and hoped onto the tree way. we had to go threw one toll rode but it 1 euro later we off driving down the most beautiful cost line!

We got to Pompeii and parked our scooter, bought our tickets and where off. it was the perfect weather! it was slightly over cast and it was the perfect weather. we were too cheap to pay for a tour guide so we went out on our own and where blown away at how people thousands of years ago where able to build all of these huge statues, buildings and an arena, when we got home from our Europe trip we watched a video on Pompeii and I wish we would have watched it before we went.

After we were done looking around (about 2 hours) we debated driving down to the Amalfi cost. but it was rainy and we didn’t want to risk not make it back to the ship. We drove back and we looked like dumb and dummer! that is just one thing that Jed and I have come to learn is that every time we get on a scooter we look like dumb and dumber but we laugh the whole time

That night we had a formal dinner and we both ate way too much desserts I’m pretty sure that night I had 4 desserts! But it was worth every bite.
