ZIONS
Zion's was such a blast. Jed and I had always wanted to go down to Zion's and hike angles landing. We had seen so many pretty pictures of it and wanted to try it out. So, one day after work he picked me up and we left to stay down at my aunt’s house. That night we went and got snacks for our hike and also decided that in the morning we would get subway.
That next morning, we stopped and got sandwiches and sunscreen because we are both SO PASTEY! we started driving up and then drove to the outside of the park and walked in. We got on the bus and headed up to the bringing of the hike. The hikes weren’t too bad. it was a TON of switchbacks which got annoying after a while we stopped every once in a while, and just look at how pretty it was.
The hike is about 2.5 miles long and the first two miles are switchbacks and then the last .5 miles of the hike is angles landing. At first, we were so nervous because it looks very intimidating at first. but once you get going up the angle landing part it wasn't too bad. everyone made it sounds like there were 2 feet wide walking area and then miles of drop-offs but it wasn't too bad honestly. We didn't realize how far up it was unless you looked over the edge. and it was more like rock climbing.
we got to the top and had lunch which was so yummy after a long hike. we took tones of pictures and then headed down the mountain. There were all these people going up the mountain so there was a lot of people to pass.
We made it down the hike and decided to go to dinner with some of our besties that live down in St. George. we went to a restaurant called Anacostia and it was so good we had some of the best fondues I have ever had! It’s so much fun hanging out was Jasmine and Kelby.
On Monday, we headed home and bought Jed a snowboard! which he is so excited for!
Zions was so much fun and we can’t wait to go to all the national parks in Utah!
