Kenzie's 20th

I wasn't planning on writing a post for my birthday. But this birthday was one I will never forget thanks to my cute husband! About a week before my birthday Jed had the opportunity to go to Kansas for his job and make some extra side money. We had just been on a trip to San Francisco and we didn't want to go into our savings so we decied that Jed should go and make a couple hundred bucks to pay off our trip. I always hate it when Jed leaves. I usually don't tell anyone (except family) I have watched to many scary movies were someone's is alone all these bad things happen. But nothing has happened I just over react. Lol
So we decied that Jed would leave but we had no idea that it would be over my birthday. I didn't relise that my birthday was so soon. His mom was the one who pointed it out. She said "you can't go that's over Kenzie's birthday" Jed had already agreed to go and he couldn't get out of it. So of course I was sad but i played it off as no its fine. We will just do something when you get back.

That whole week I was sad that I would be alone on my birthday I wouldn't have my twin brother is serving a lds mission in Germany, I would have my mom, who passed way almost 8 years ago, my dad and sister were in Logan and I wouldn't have Jed. I was filling kinda down on my self. But my cousin Jess and aunt Terri wanted to plan something fun! We had planned to have my family come to dinner and that was so great!

Anyways....why my birthday was so great great! The night before my birthday Jed was texting my all day saying that he wanted to call me at midnight to be the first one to wish me a happy birthday! I thought that was really sweet of him that he was trying to make the best out of my birthday since we couldn't be together. He was texting me all day and was texting me really fast. I didn't think it was abnormal I was just glad that I could talk to him. That night at 12:00 he called me and wished me happy birthday.we were talking about what I was going to do tomorrow and what I wanted for my birthday and I Told him that I wanted his for my birthday. He than said well why don't you come out side so that I don't have to sing happy birthday to you over the phone. It took him a couple mins for me to believe that he was actually out side.i was so happy to see him that I jumped from my pouch down 10 stairs to hug him! I was so excited to see him that I'm not going to lie I cried!!! He was so sweet to drive all the way home just to be back for my birthday. He gets husband of the year award!

That next day we just spent the day together we went shopping and we went to dinner with my moms side of the family and we got to go to dinner with Addie and my dad :) I'm so grateful that i have a family and husband who will go out of there ways to make sure on my birthday that they spend time with me. Thanks for all the birthday wishes everyone and birthday gifts!!
