Date Night

Jed and I had so much fun with our new friends Jasmine and Kelby! We hang out at least twice a week and get in trouble at church! We have so much fun, whether its going to dinner at each others house, or going bowling, laser-tagging, and miniature golfing! We have so much fun! 

On this date we started it out by Jasmine and I going to the pool!!! Jed had heard of this place called the Main Event and Jasmine and Kelby told us it was cheep and fun and that we should go tonight! 

We went home got ready and went! First we went bowling and I actually did really good... with the bumpers. Jasmine and I used the bumpers and totally won. The most embarrassing part of the night was on my very last throw I used a bigger ball that had bigger finger holes. I went up to bowl and I swung and the ball flew into the other lane and rolled down and I hit 5 pins down on a lane that wasn't mine! I was so scarred that I had messed up someone else game! Luckily they had just finished, so I didn't mess up anyone's game! we laughed so hard!

We also played miniature golf, pool, and shuffle board this was for sure Jed's favorite game! He was so competitive and he was getting so mad when he wasn't winning. Jed and I won only won one game, while Jasmine and Kelby won the rest. They were really good! I know that there is going to be another throw down because I'm pretty sure Jed and Kelby would have played all night if we would have let them!

This is Jed's new favorite game! Kelby and Jed could have played for HOURS. Im pretty sure there will be a rematch sometime soon!

 

Mothers Day

Happy mothers day to all the women in my life. I'm greatfull that even tho my mom isn't here I still have amazing women in my life who I could consider my mom. Thank you Julie,Terri,Kathie,Grandma,Diane, Jenae, and all the other mothers out there that I look up to!!
On days like this it hits hard that my mom has been gone for 8 years. But I know I will be able to see her again!

I'm also glad that I got to talk to my brother who is serving a lds mission in germany! He is doing great and loves it. Only 459 days till he comes home!

Later today we also get to talk to jeds brother who is serving a lds mission in Arizona. Im so glad we get to talk to our missionarys! I wish we could call them when ever we needed them or wanted to tell them something but it's probably easier if we don't.

Happy mothers day once again! I can't wait till im a mother! I told jed when I'm a mom on mother's day in going to  milk it for all its worth. But that won't be for a while!

Our Lubbock Apartment

Sorry this is a re-post but I accidentally  deleted this post! I will just post the pictures again of the apartment that we are staying in. I'm not a fan of the furniture but none of it is ours! But it works and its better than living in a hotel! Its Bigger than our place at so we fell spoiled! :) hope you like the pictures!

 

One Month In Texas

 He have been in Texas for a Month. we have been pretty busy for the Pre-Season. Jed's office does about 20-30 jobs a week which has been nice. Some days are slower than others but its all good. We have really grown to like it out here, the high way is really convenient and we think that Utah should adapt it. Also the people here are so nice! We like it here but we would never move here because of the dust storms and also the water here taste nasty. Jed and I really only drink bottled water.  We go threw about two cases a week just for drinking.

I Workout!

So while we have been out here we have been trying to keep busy. We work out every day or two times a day. Because we are going to Cancun at the end of the summer for our honeymoon! which we are so excited for. Jed has really done a awesome job at working out consistently and is looking really good! we go to the gym everyday and there is a gym at our apartment which is nice.

Jed got some Perfect push ups. This picture made me laugh because I was on the I pad Eating a bowl of cereal and Jed is hard core working out! At least I have my yoga pants on.

Eat, Drink, And Be Marry

We also have been eating a lot less junk food. We have no junk food in our house! Which is so such an accomplishment from eating junk food at my work every day! Don't get me wrong we still crave chocolate and chips and soda everyday but it make it easier when its not in our house and you have to go to the store and buy it. Its amazing how eating right can make you not gain weight. Jed and I have noticed a difference in how we fill. but like I said we aren't dieting we are just making better choices, we dont count our calories and say what we can and cant have but we make better choices.

This was another trick I played on Jed. I put spinach  in a smoothie and you couldn't even taste it.

You cant always eat right when there was a krispy kream with in walking distance of our first place.

According to Jed you don't even need Crackers for hummus you can just like it right out of the container

It was one of those nights were you just have to eat outta the bowl.

One of our favorite new things that we have been come addicted to is Greek Yogurt! Oh my that has become our new candy! We eat it like its going out of style! We have been substituting Greek yogurt for sour cream because it taste the same, Jed was a little hesitant with this but one day i made his taco with plain Greek yogurt instead of sour cream and he couldn't taste the difference! so in my book that is a win! Thanks Daneen for telling me that little trick!

Furniture Shopping 

I have also been looking for some new furniture for our house back home. Now that I have time for it its so much fun! we have been looking on line for accent chairs, rugs, tables. We aren't in a rush to buy anything so we are just waiting till we find good deals

I love the look of this chair! There are a few reasons why we didn't get it. 1. because we are in Texas and it would be hard to get it back to utah. 2. It had a stain on it 3. it was not comfy to sit on. I could barley get my shoulders to sit back. But this is the Style I'm Looking for.

Same Chair $150 isn't to bad for a chair right?

Nine months 

Jed and I had our 9 month anniversary I posted some pictures of our wedding. but we try to do month-aversery. So on the 11th of every month, We just done something nice for each other. This time we bought each other some new shoes. (Jed still hasn't found some he likes but once he does we will get them for him and that will be his gift.)

Weather

I thought Utah had some crazy weather but I must say Texas wins. This picture of my white legs was taken while I was tanning on Sunday and on Wednesday we had snow! It went from 90 down to 20 degrees in a couple of days but by the weekend it was back up to 90. 

Gotta love my winter white legs! Hopefully I can get some color on these legs.

Instagram Picture! This was the crazy weather day were it SNOWED in TEXAS I didn't pack clothes for snow but it Lubbock Texas has some crazy weather. It in two days it had a temperature drop of about 70 degrees! and than bounced back up into the 90s by the weekend.

We went to the ward that we are suppost to be in. We have now been to every ward in the building. This picture is hard to see. But this is brother stubs ( holding the Hymn book) Not only does he have one hook for a hand but he has Two hooks. we are not sure how Brother stubs lost his hand. But he is a nice guy and it made going to church at 9 A.M a lot better.

 

This was the day that we moved into our new apartment. there was no room in our car that we put all of our food on my seat! good thing it was only a couple mins away.

Jed Had a random day where all he did was hiss at me. like a cat. it was so funny. Man I love him
